A new leak suggests the OnePlus 16 and Oppo Find X10 Ultra may skip an India launch, with the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max tipped as a replacement flagship for 2027.

A fresh leak adds weight to the recent Bloomberg report claiming OnePlus may shut down operations in India by 2027. According to a tipster, the OnePlus 16 may not launch in the country, which would make the OnePlus 15 the last OnePlus flagship to ever launch in India.

Leaks suggest Oppo and OnePlus may leave two upcoming flagship phones out of their India launch plans altogether. According to the claim, the OnePlus 16 and Oppo Find X10 Ultra could both miss India, though a separate Oppo flagship may still reach the country in their place. Neither company has confirmed any of this, so it’s worth treating the details with some caution for now.

Tipster Debayan Roy, who goes by @Gadgetsdata on X, claims the OnePlus 16 and Oppo Find X10 Ultra are now almost certainly skipping an India launch. According to the same source, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max could instead become the company’s flagship device for the Indian market in 2027.

What’s tipped for the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max

The Find X10 Pro Max is rumoured to feature a flat 2K LTPO OLED display with a high refresh rate. On the camera side, the leak points to a 200-megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation and a 1/1.3-inch sensor size. The rear setup is also tipped to include a 200-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with optical stabilisation and telemacro support, and a 50-megapixel multispectral sensor.

On performance, the phone is expected to run MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, paired with a battery somewhere between 8,000mAh and 9,000mAh. Other rumoured features include an IP69 rating, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated Snap Key.

This isn’t the first sign pointing in this direction. Earlier reports had already suggested OnePlus was reducing its footprint outside China. The company later clarified that it would stop launching new products in North America and Europe, while continuing to operate in India.

If this latest leak holds up, though, it suggests India might not be spared entirely, at least not for every upcoming device. Oppo and OnePlus haven’t announced regional availability plans for the OnePlus 16, Oppo Find X10 Ultra, or Oppo Find X10 Pro Max, and this report remains unverified for now.

Reports suggest OnePlus could exit the Indian market by 2027 as part of a larger restructuring by parent company Oppo. A tipster claims the OnePlus 16 may not launch in India, making the OnePlus 15 the last flagship in the country.
