With the Esports World Cup over and teams going back to their respective regional leagues, here are Hotspawn’s LEC Summer Split 2026 Power Rankings.

1. Karmine Corp
KC enter the summer split in a much stronger position compared to how they finished the spring split. After a somewhat disappointing performance at MSI, which saw them eliminated early in play-ins, the French team got their revenge with a top-two finish at the Esports World Cup, defeating Eastern teams like T1 and AG.AL before falling to Dplus KIA.
Their performance in front of the home crowd in Paris was much more convincing, with all three carries (Caliste, kyeahoo, and Canna) all looking in strong form. The biggest positive sign came from the latter, who seems to have found the top lane dominance he had missed earlier in the year.
If there is still something to work on for KC, however, it is the coordination in the mid-game, especially between Yike and Busio. Both, while being proactive, struggled to match DK in the grand final, which caused them to drop the series in three quick games. Considering KC seems to have leveled up compared to how they ended spring, they could be the team to beat early in summer.
2. G2 Esports
It’s pretty surprising not to see G2 Esports at the top of the power rankings in the LEC, but here we are. As much as the team did get into the top four at MSI, the most recent performance at the Esports World Cup, paired with the coaching staff change, could have major consequences for the team, at least in the first part of the summer split.
While it’s undeniable that the potential is still there, it seems like the floor is not as consistent as it used to be. The new head coach Perkz, will have big shoes to fill, especially given the expectations set by the results earlier in the season.
SkewMond and Caps will continue to be the main protagonists of this roster, but it’s also equally important that the others step it up to become EU’s best chance at a world championship. I could see G2 start a little slower in the LEC 2026 Summer Split, but then slowly ramp it up like they usually do: this is fine for me, as long as they can peak when it matters.
3. Movistar KOI
I’m not going to lie, but I was disappointed by how MKOI showed up at the EWC. Yes, the team probably didn’t get to train against the best teams in the world since most were at MSI. However, the same issues that were present in spring don’t seem to have been fixed.
Myrwn, unfortunately, still struggled to match the top laners at the tournament, forcing the team to have a backup with academy top laner Nightslayer joining the main team for the upcoming split. A worrying sign, especially with the Worlds slots up for grabs.
Most are aware that this team can do well and fight for both the LEC title and at Worlds. But the consistency of the team has gone down significantly this year and with many other playoff teams right behind them, MKOI must step it up if they want to be in that top 3.
4. Natus Vincere
Natus Vincere were one of the most consistent teams during the Spring split and their continuous growth could open up a chance for them to fight the front-runners.
They are also one of the two organizations with no changes heading into the new split. The key protagonist will continue to be jungler Rhilech, although keep an eye on the Korean carries of Poby and Hans SamD: if NAVI wants to be ready for those Worlds slots, this team will have to rely on them.
We know they have a decent floor. Now it’s time to show they can transition that in the best-of-five series.
5. GIANTX
GIANTX finished Spring strongly decently but the mid-season break brought along two important roster changes. The Spanish duo of Oscarinin and Flakked have returned to the LEC, with Lot and Noah becoming inactive and essentially out of the team.
Even though both have considerable LEC experience, I don’t think that the two changes will turn GX immediately into a top team. I would be happy to be proven wrong, but at the current time, I believe that the team will need some time to reach their best level and they might not have that much time, especially with how close the playoff fight could become.
6. Team Vitality
Ranking Team Vitality after what went down in the offseason is like playing a roulette game. The team could’ve done the genius move to prompt them as a top team, but also collapse if the synergy with the new mid laner FIESTA is not found.
Based on VIT’s past, the latter turned out to be true more often, which is why I’m being cautious and only ranking them sixth in the LEC S026 Summer Power Rankings. We know how players like Naak Nako and Carzzy can do their magic, but there is still too much uncertainty around this lineup. Just like GX, I would be happy to be proven wrong: the more good teams we have in the LEC, the better it will be for the league.
7. Fnatic
As much as I think Soboro’s hiring will be beneficial to the team, I believe Fnatic won’t have a big jump in performance heading into the last split of LEC 2026.
After a disastrous spring split outside of playoffs, it will now come down to one single shot for a Worlds slot. As much as Soboro has shown some promising stuff at the start of the season, he ended up dropping the ball quite quickly, to the point he was benched in spring on Invictus Gaming.
Upset will likely still try to carry the team as much as he can, but I doubt they have what it takes to be fighting with the top teams. A playoff finish could be within reach; however, this is not what me and the rest of the FNC fans would want to see.
8. Shifters
Shifters are also trying to shake things up for the summer split. After bringing back jungler Sheo, the team also signed support Stend to replace Trymbi, reuniting with both Sheo and nuc once again.

On paper, this could benefit the team who will have a more coordinated jungle-mid-support trio. The Korean imports of Paduck and Rooster haven’t done too badly, especially the latter, but the overall teamplay was still lacking in spring. Head coach Striker, who is known for following a more conservative playstyle similar to the LCK, is not finding success in the accelerated 2026 meta.
The team could be more competitive, but moving into the top six is still looking like a tough ask.
9. SK Gaming
SK Gaming have dropped mid laner LIDER ahead of summer, bringing in Korean player SlowQ as the new starting player. Initially brought in during the EWC qualifier, the team looked way more stable with SlowQ, which is probably why the team stuck with him.
The more conventional champion pool and playstyle has likely made the games easier to execute for the team but I don’t think it will raise SK’s bar enough to get into the playoff conversation. Jopa is the one to keep an eye on: he has proven he has the qualities to be in the LEC and SK’s results will depend on his shoulders.
10. Team Heretics
As much as I would like to be positive about Team Heretics’ changes going into the new split, I can’t help but think that the new changes won’t really move them from the bottom of the standings.
After changing both jungler and the bot lane, TH has now also brought in the new coaching staff with Nukeduck as head coach and supported by former top laner sOAZ.

While there is a good foundation to build upon, I doubt this will put them close to the top six. Everyone has looked to make upgrades in the break and there are still a bit too many unknowns for this roster. Finishing outside of the bottom two would be a great result in my eyes.
