Neon Commerce Raises $13M in Series A Funding

Neon Commerce, Inc., a San Francisco, CA – based fintech startup specializing in direct-to-consumer (DTC) commerce for games, closed a $13m Series A funding round.

South Korean publisher KRAFTON, Inc. participated in the round as a strategic investor, alongside a16z and Renegade Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its commerce and loyalty infrastructure across the games industry.

Led by Chris Faught, founder and CEO, Neon provides gaming publishers a tech stack that covers the full player journey:

  • a webstore that integrates with a publisher’s existing systems and data to power personalized storefronts;
  • a payments layer that manages checkout, tax, and fraud; and
  • loyalty programs that keep players engaged each publisher’s ecosystem long after the first purchase.

The system embeds commerce and loyalty capabilities directly into a publisher’s ecosystem, providing transparency and control over payments and fraud decisions, tax filings, and money movement. Player information is made available to the publisher whenever security and legal conditions allow.

Neon serves mobile and PC games across core and casual genres and has increased its gross merchandise value (GMV) more than tenfold over the past two years and delivered over 200% year-over-year growth in the first half of 2026 alone.

The company has raised a total of $27 million since its founding in 2022.
