Deals: Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z foldables and smartwatches up for pre-order
Samsung unveiled its latest foldables earlier this week, including the new wide-screen Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8. The company also introduced the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2.
All of the new devices are now available for pre-order on Amazon UK. Besides the latest launches, we’ve also spotted discounts on a couple of other phones.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 brings an all-new form-factor with a 4:3 ratio inner display and a wide design. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7 and offers newer hardware.
Both the new book-style foldables are available on pre-order with deliveries starting August 3. There aren’t any discounts available at the moment, unfortunately.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 is Samsung’s latest clamshell foldable and it looks identical to the Z Flip7, but offers a newer chip along with improved software.
Samsung also announced new smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch9 in 40mm and 44mm sizes, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 in 47mm.
Both smartwatches are powered by the Snapdragon SW6100 Wear chipset and feature a Sapphire Crystal glass on the front. They also feature larger batteries and run Wear OS 7-based One UI Watch 9.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2 are also available for pre-order with deliveries set to begin on August 3. Users can get £30 off if they bundle the smartwatches with the Galaxy Buds4 or Buds4 Pro TWS.
Apart from Samsung devices, the Google Pixel 10a is available at a discount online. The affordable Pixel is up to £150 off from its retail price.
It comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, and a dual-rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor. The phone also packs a 5,100mAh battery and supports wireless charging.
Xiaomi also has a couple of its phones on discount. The flagship Xiaomi 17 Ultra continues to be discounted and is £200 off its market price.
It offers a 6.9-inch display and a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP 1-inch type main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and packs a 6,000mAh battery.
Meanwhile, on the lower-end, the 512GB variant of the Poco X8 Pro Max is available with a £90 discount.
It gets a 6.83-inch AMOLED display and is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. The device houses a large 8,500mAh battery and features a dual-rear camera setup.
