Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 Confirmed For August 25 PS5 Release, 40th Anniversary Edition Detailed
Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Game Company have announced that Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 will launch on August 25, 2026 for PS5, Pc, and Xbox Series X/S. In addition to the Standard Edition, there’s also a 40th Anniversary Premium Edition, which includes the game, Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack, and Herk Mondo’s Pest Pack.
Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 sees up to four players dropped into the combat zone as Colonial Marines as they battle for survival in the most hostile corners of the Alien universe. It’s a fight for survival as Xenomorphs lurk in the shadows and stalk corridors in overwhelming numbers, so you’ll have to put your class’s unique skills to use if you’re to make it out alive. Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 promises deeper squad mechanics, more intelligent foes, and a fully customisable Specialist class.
Cold Iron Studios also confirmed that players can use Rain’s Jackson’s Star Pack to bring Alien Romulus to Aliens Fireteam Elite 2, which is available for all editions from August 25 for $9.99. This features an outfit based on the protagonist of the 2014 film, Rain Carradine, alongside Rain’s pulse rifle, which includes a cryoweapon under barrel bonus.
