Posted here a few weeks ago — Pomelo asks you ~5 adaptive questions to figure out what you actually already know, then builds a course around the gap instead of making you sit through stuff you already get.

Since then: 167 people have generated at least one course, 202 courses total, about 1,840 chapters. Only 29 of those people bothered making an account, which is honestly the point — you don't need one to try it.

Also hopped on a call with someone from this community from the last thread and got incredible insights about what works and what doesn’t.

What's different since last time:

• new presenter mode — slide-based video with quizzes built into it, and it's the default way through a course

  • chapters have

rich

  • pictures, diagrams, and animations
  • chapters cite real

, reliable

  • sources instead of the model just

generating

  • stuff, which was my biggest worry last time.

Still figuring out: the right format for courses, if we need smaller digestible chapters, customizations for different learning styles (diff ppl learn differently).

Same as last time — go break it, tell me what's wrong.
