Sindh Raises Convenance Allowance for All Employee Grades
The Sindh government has increased the convenance allowance for its employees by 50 percent, with the Finance Department issuing a notification confirming the raise across all grades.
Under the notification, employees in grades one to four will see their allowance rise from Rs1,785 to Rs2,678, while those in grades five to ten will receive an increase from Rs1,932 to Rs2,898.
Employees in grades 11 to 15 will now receive Rs4,284, up from Rs2,856, and those in grade 16 and above will see their allowance rise from Rs5,000 to Rs7,500.
The increase was announced in the fiscal year 2026-27 budget and will take effect from July 1, 2026.
