Multiverse Computing Raises $570M in Series C Funding
Multiverse Computing, a San Sebastian, Spain-based provider model compression technology solutions, raised $570M (€500M) in Series C funding, at a $1.7B (€1.5B) valuation.
The round was led by Forgepoint Capital International, BNPP Solar Impulse Venture Fund (BNPP SIVF), and Bullhound Capital, with participation from Santander Alternative Investments, Tikehau Capital, HP Inc., Orange Ventures, Scania Invest, NAventures, Qatar Development Bank, Zouk Capital, SETT, EIC Fund, Hazten Scale-Up Fund, and Kutxa Fundazioa.
The raise brought the total amount to $800M.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its library of models, make strategic investments in sovereign AI gigafactory infrastructure, and establish a regional presence across East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Canada, and the United States.
Led by CEO Enrique Lizaso and CSO Dr. Román Orús, Multiverse Computing is a deep tech company delivering sovereign and efficient AI technologies. Their platform features CompactifAI, a model compression technology that uses tensor networks to reduce large language model size by up to 80-95%, as well as the CompactifAI Router, which orchestrates workloads in real time across cloud, on-premises, and on-device environments.
They currently serve customers across key sectors including aerospace, defense, energy, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing, including Allianz, Bank of Canada, Bosch, Iberdrola, Indra, PwC, and Telefónica.
