Best smartphones under 15000 in India (July 2026)
Smartphones under 15,000 rupees in India used to be feature-packed and provide great value for money. However, the same cannot be said now due to an absurd rise in memory and storage prices, which have made every smartphone, laptop, TV, and more significantly more expensive.
Most phones previously available under 15,000 rupees now either cost over 20,000 rupees or are out of stock, making it difficult for an average user to buy a smartphone under 15000 in India. That’s why I’ve decided to put together a list of some of the best budget smartphones. Read on to learn more.

Best smartphones you should buy under 15,000 rupees
1) MOTOROLA G37 Power

Price: ₹14,999
The MOTOROLA G37 Power is one of the best all-rounded smartphones you can currently buy under 15,000 rupees. It features a decently bright display with good color accuracy. There’s even Gorilla Glass 7i protection against scratches. For connectivity, the MOTOROLA G37 Power supports 5G, so you will get super-fast internet speeds without any issues.
MOTOROLA packed this phone with a large 7,000 mAh battery, which is its main highlight. With this large battery, this smartphone should last three days on a single charge. The only con of the MOTOROLA G37 Power is that its display lacks Full HD resolution.
2) Samsung Galaxy M17e

Price: ₹13,999
The Galaxy M17e is a great phone from Samsung that provides great value even after receiving price hikes. It features a Full HD+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, decent brightness, and good color accuracy. This is one of the very few smartphones with an FHD+ display that’s available under 15,000 rupees. For performance, there’s a Dimensity 6300 chip, which is quite decent.
Samsung also launched this phone with the latest One UI 8 version and a 6000 mAh battery. The latter should easily provide 2–3 days of battery life. Moreover, the main camera performance is also quite good, so you should get a decent camera experience.
3) POCO C85x

Price: ₹13,499
The POCO C85x is a 5G-capable smartphone that’s designed to be quite affordable. It costs only ₹13,499, yet it has a Dimensity 6300 chipset, 120Hz refresh rate display, fast UFS 2.2 storage, and a large 6,300 mAh battery. This combination of specs will provide a great user experience.
POCO equipped this phone with a 6,300 mAh battery, which should be more than enough for most users. It also supports 15W fast charging, which isn’t particularly fast, but at least the charger is included in the box. This slow charging speed is its main drawback.

4) Realme C71

Price: ₹11,999
The Realme C71 is one of the most affordable 5G phones you can buy on the market right now. It features the Unisoc T7250 chipset, which is a bit dated in 2026, but still better than many 4G smartphones in the same price range. Moreover, this Realme phone has a great design and colors, which makes it look a lot more premium than it actually is.
Realme didn’t compromise the battery life of the C71 smartphone. It features a large 6,300 mAh battery found in costlier models, so you should get a decent battery life that lasts many days.
5) Samsung Galaxy M07

Price: ₹10,999
If you don’t need 5G or have a very limited budget, then the Samsung Galaxy M07 is for you. It features a large 6.7-inch IPS display like many others on this list. It is decently color-accurate, and its 90Hz refresh rate makes everyday usage a bit smoother. The Mediatek Helio G99 chip is still quite solid and runs most apps and games quite smoothly.
The rear camera performance has honestly quite surprised me, especially considering its budget price. Having personally used this budget smartphone, I can tell it’s a decent smartphone for everyday use, provided you can uninstall some bloatware that comes pre-installed.
These are some of the best smartphones you should buy under 15,000 rupees. The MOTOROLA G37 Power and Samsung Galaxy M17e will obviously deliver the best performance, display, and battery life. However, the more affordable models like Realme C71 and Samsung Galaxy M07 also deliver a great experience overall. Choose a smartphone that best suits your needs and budget.
