3 Hours Wasted

I just spent 3 hours preparing for my first ever end fight getting everything i need, full prot 4 diamond armour, tools, full enchant kit to upgrade all my items when the dragon drops xp, water bucket, blocks EVERYTHING. And right now as of righting this I am in the pause screen staring at the end island from 300 blocks away in pretty much the void because while pillaring up the dragon launched me.
