Bakersfield Police ask for public’s help identifying woman wanted for identity theft
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an identity theft investigation.
According to police, on April 4th, the suspect allegedly used a victim’s identifying information to rent a U-Haul truck that was later abandoned.
Police said the suspect is possibly related to several other crimes, including auto theft and credit card fraud.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic woman, about 40 to 55 years old,185 pounds and with brown hair.
