Tokenized products tied to real-world assets are attracting more trading activity than Bitcoin on digital-asset exchanges, Cointelegraph reported.

Market analytics firm Talos said in a report cited by Cointelegraph on July 31 that trading volume in RWA perpetual futures on Hyperliquid and Binance reached $37.2 billion this week. That was about 9% higher than Bitcoin perpetual futures volume over the same period. Over the past seven days, RWA perpetual futures volume amounted to 99.2% of Bitcoin’s volume.

By product type, tokenized equities accounted for the largest share at 57.8%, followed by tokenized commodities at 28.2%.

Trading in RWA perpetual futures is expanding rapidly, led by Hyperliquid. From July 13 to July 19, RWA perpetual futures volume on Hyperliquid reached $25.1 billion, exceeding the combined volume of all other perpetual futures products on the platform.
