Tom Holland Says His Favourite Video Game Is The Last Of Us Part II, But He Hasn’t Seen The HBO Series
Spider-Man: Brand New Day star Tom Holland isn’t a massive gamer, but he’s revealed during a chat with Happy Sad Confused on YouTube that The Last of Us: Part II ranks as his favourite video game of all time.
“The Last Of Us,” Holland replied, when asked what his favourite game is. “The second one, so good.” He added, “I have not watched the series. Because I love the games so much. Like, I don’t play video games all that much, and the game is just so good.” Holland also revealed that he’s not very good at Fortnite, and reckons he hasn’t even scored a kill.
Holland recently revealed during an interview at the premiere of Brand New Day that the Marvel’s Spider-Man games – specifically the finishing moves – had quite a big influence on Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Presumably he’s a fan of those games too, but not enough to take the crown away from The Last of Us: Part II, it would seem!
Apart from naming Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic sequel as his favourite game, Holland has of course starred in the big-screen adaptation of the developer’s Uncharted franchise, where he played Nathan Drake. He’s also expressed interest in making a Jak & Daxter movie at some point in the future.
