And if you’re looking to upgrade to one of these cutting-edge wearables, you’ll want to take advantage of these preorder offers before they expire when the watches hit shelves on Aug. 7.
While the Galaxy Watch 9 looks quite similar to its predecessor, things get interesting under the hood. It comes with a beefier battery and a more powerful processor this time around. The engine driving it all is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip, the same one powering the Ultra 2. You also get new fitness metrics and can create a custom workout plan for yourself for free.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 preorder deals
Samsung is offering a $30 reserve credit if you preorder the Galaxy Watch 9 before it comes out next week, which knocks the starting price down to just $350. Plus, you can score up to $250 off if you’ve got an old smartwatch to trade in. If you don’t have an eligible trade-in, you’ll get $50 in instant Samsung credit, which you can use toward accessories or other Samsung products — some of which are already on sale when bundled with this purchase. Just note that the trade-in and instant credit offers can’t be combined.
Amazon also has the Galaxy Watch 9 available for preorder now, and you’ll get a free $50 gift card with the purchase.
Best Buy isn’t offering any direct discounts, but does have its own trade-in program where you can save up to $250 in exchange for your old smartwatch. Apple and Samsung devices will net you the most credit, but devices from Google, Garmin and other brands are also accepted.
AT&T is offering a few different ways to save on the Galaxy Watch 9 before it hits shelves next month. Just purchasing the watch on an installment plan will save you $100, which drops the price down to $9 per month. Plus, you can get an extra $258 off if you bundle it with a Samsung Galaxy phone, which drops the cost to just $2 per month.
Verizon customers on a Plus or Unlimited plan can trade in an old device for up to $430 off the Galaxy Watch 9, which puts the 40mm model on your wrist for free. The discount will be applied as bill credits over 36 months.
Just adding a new Watch Plan Plus line at T-Mobile will save you $430, which puts the basic Galaxy Watch 9 on your wrist for free and drops the 44mm model down to just $1 per month. Discounts will be applied as bill credits over 24 months.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 preorder deals
Samsung has knocked $100 off the starting price for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, and you can score up to $250 off with an eligible trade-in for a total discount of $350. Those without an old smartwatch to trade in will still get $100 in Samsung credit that you can use toward accessories or other devices.
AT&T is offering the same deal on the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Just purchasing the watch on an installment plan will save you $100, which drops the price down to $16 per month. You can get an extra $258 off if you bundle it with a Samsung Galaxy phone, which means you can pick it up for less than $10 per month. Plus, you can save even more if you have an eligible trade-in.
Trading in your old smartwatch can knock up to $430 off the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 at Verizon, which drops the cost down to less than $8 per month. Just note that you’ll need to have or switch to a Plus or Unlimited Plus plan to qualify for this deal.

Which new devices are available to preorder?
Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch 9, Watch Ultra 2 and other new Galaxy products, including new phones, during the Unpacked event last week. Preorders began immediately after Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked presentation on July 22. Right now, you can preorder directly from Samsung, participating wireless carriers, and select retailers. The watches will be officially released on Aug. 7.

When will the XR glasses be available?
Samsung revealed more details about the upcoming glasses, saying that durability tests for the glasses show better strength than standard eyewear, “multiple times stronger than regular glasses.” Samsung has already filed more than 200 patents related to its smart glasses technology.
