BGMI Version 4.5 update: Naruto-themed maps, rewards, new game modes
Krafton India has begun rolling out the BGMI Version 4.5 update, introducing a limited-time collaboration with the anime franchise Naruto. The event will run from July 16 to September 14 and adds new locations, gameplay features, themed rewards and special game modes inspired by the series.
As part of the crossover, sections of Erangel and Livik have been redesigned around the Hidden Leaf Village. Players can visit several iconic locations from the anime, including the Hidden Leaf Village, Hokage Rock, Ichiraku Ramen Shop, Naruto’s Apartment, Ninja Academy, Great Naruto Bridge, Chunin Exam Arena and the Valley of the End. The update also adds underground secret rooms while giving several urban areas a Naruto-inspired makeover.
Beyond map changes, the update introduces themed lobby music, a Naruto-themed in-flight sequence, cinematic animations, Kurama Memory Space and a group photo mode, along with other interactive elements based on the anime.
A major addition in Version 4.5 is the Kurama Boss Battle, where players face the Nine-Tailed Fox in a multi-stage encounter. The update also includes new modes such as Nine-Tails Special Match, Valley of the End solo duels and Defend Konoha.
Players can use a range of signature ninja techniques during matches, including Rasengan, Chidori, Flying Raijin Jutsu, Great Fireball Jutsu, Shadow Clone Jutsu, Earth Style Mud Wall and Reanimation Jutsu. Selected abilities can also be activated through voice commands. The update further introduces movement and combat enhancements inspired by ninja abilities, offering faster-paced gameplay.
The collaboration also features a variety of limited-time rewards. Players can unlock Naruto-themed outfits, weapon skins, missions and collectibles, including Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kurama character cards. Other rewards include Naruto Sage Mode, Naruto Six Paths Mode, the Nine-Tails Fury AUG upgradeable weapon skin, themed Monster Truck skins and character sets available through the Naruto Mini Royale Pass, along with additional cosmetics through the Naruto Gold Spin.
The Naruto collaboration will remain available in BGMI until September 14.
