Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition Showcases Vibrant Platforming Action In New Gameplay Trailer

Ubisoft has published a new gameplay video for the stunning-looking Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, which revamps the 2011 platformer for modern consoles with a host of improvements. Before we get into that, check out the trailer below.

Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition spruces up the original game’s textures with a 4K resolution makeover, so the game looks prettier than ever, while players will have new collectibles to hunt down. Chiefly, the PS Vita-exclusive Relics are featured in the Enhanced Edition, which are the hardest collectibles to find, and will be joined by the Mosaic Gallery, also from the PS Vita version. 18 new skins will also be included for a total of 34, and players can hunt down 39 Achievements/Trophies.

Beyond that, Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition offers skippable cutscenes, a toggle for the run button, the ability to remap controls, and vibration and haptic feedback. Finally, the game adds a concept gallery with over 70 unlockable concepts from Rayman Origins, plus the Fairy Blessing option that allows you to become ‘nearly invincible’ and gain free flight to help you out of a sticky spot.

Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition is due out on October 1, 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
