Nvidia Stock Rises After Major Robotics Breakthrough — TradingView News
Nvidia shares spiked more than 1% on Monday after the company introduced Halos for Robotics, a safety platform designed to help developers build and deploy robots that can operate alongside human workers in industrial environments.
The company said Halos for Robotics is the industry’s first full-stack safety system for robotics and physical AI, combining AI computing, system software, sensor data, safety applications, and inspection tools into a unified architecture.
Nvidia said humanoid robotics company Agility is the first customer to adopt the platform. Agility plans to use Halos for Robotics in its Digit humanoid robot, which is designed for logistics, manufacturing, and warehouse operations.
Digit is already being deployed for customers including Amazon, GXO, Schaeffler, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. According to Nvidia, Agility is integrating Nvidia’s IGX Thor computing platform and Halos Core software into its human-detection system to enhance operational safety.
The launch extends technology Nvidia previously developed for autonomous vehicles into the growing robotics market. The company said the platform allows developers to leverage a standardized safety framework while accelerating robot deployment in industrial settings.
Nvidia also said its Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab has become the first ANAB-accredited program focused on functional and AI safety for physical AI systems, helping partners prepare products for third-party certification.
