Faribault Foundation announces Founders Fund grants | Community
The Faribault Foundation is proud to announce the 2026 Founders Fund grants.
The Founders Fund is a discretionary endowment established through the Hand Up Campaign, designed to support the Faribault Foundation and to provide grants into the community. Members of the Founders Society have contributed to the Founders Fund.
The Founder’s Society was established in 2023 by some of Faribault’s most generous philanthropists whose commitments have influenced the direction of the Faribault Foundation to enhance the quality of life for all who live here. The following grants have been awarded in 2026 from the Founders Fund: Hope Center, $15,000; Meals on Wheels, $5,000; FEEP, $5,000; Knitted Together, $2,500; FCTV, $2,500.
The Founders Fund offers a meaningful way to support the Faribault Foundation while creating a lasting legacy through the Founders Fund Endowment.
In 2023, the Faribault Foundation launched the Hand Up Campaign to build the Founders Fund. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Foundation has secured $2.3 million in commitments from 48 philanthropists who believe in the future of Faribault and are committed to supporting the good happening throughout our community.
Each gift to the Founders Fund is invested in two important ways: a portion strengthens the Founders Fund Endowment, ensuring permanent resources for future community grants, and a portion supports the long-term sustainability of the Faribault Foundation, enabling the Foundation to continue its mission for generations to come.
As a lasting expression of gratitude, donors to the Founders Fund are recognized as Founders Society members in perpetuity. Their names are acknowledged whenever grants are awarded from the Founders Fund Endowment, honoring the vision and generosity that made the endowment possible.
