According to the published data, the $80 price tag for the standard edition will be exclusive to Grand Theft Auto 6. Meanwhile, the company’s other titles, including the new sports simulator NBA 2K27, will retain the $69,99 price tag for the base version. This confirms that the publisher does not plan to make the $80 price standard for its entire lineup.

Some players believe that the scale and level of development of Grand Theft Auto 6 fully justifies the $79,99 price tag, while annual sports game releases don’t even merit a $70 price tag.
