Stupid Never Dies Set to Release in October

Stupid Never Dies is an upcoming action RPG developed by GPTRACK50 Inc., led by former Capcom employee Hiroyuki Kobayashi. Throughout his career at Capcom, he has worked on notable titles such as Killer7, Dragon’s Dogma, and several entries in the Devil May Cry series.

He’s bringing some of those vibes to the upcoming game, where players control Davy, a very weak zombie who must battle through dungeons to defeat the King of Monsters.

GPTRACK50 has announced that the game will release on October 21 for PS5 and PC for $49.99. They also released a new trailer to promote the release.

Stupid Never Dies Is Published by SEGA

In a press release, it was confirmed that SEGA would be responsible for publishing and distribution of the upcoming game. Also in the release, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, President of GPTRACK50, praised the relationship they are forming with SEGA and stated that it has been an invaluable asset to the upcoming release.

Stupid Never Dies is an ambitious action game that introduces a number of original gameplay systems, and working with a publisher as experienced as SEGA has been invaluable. We look forward to welcoming everyone into the world of Stupid Never Dies on October 21.

Furthermore, the press release confirms the existence of a deluxe edition, dubbed the Glorious Idiot Edition. It will cost $59.99 and include the game’s first DLC, known as TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack.

This version will include five TickTock Teddies that add off-the-wall visual features to the game, along with new remixes of the background music. Some of the effects featured in the DLC include big-head mode and other level effects.
