MeOut Summit: Bringing Europe’s startup ecosystem to Budapest this November
On 25-26 November, the first edition of the MeOut Summit will take place in Budapest with the goal to strengthen Europe’s innovation ecosystem and enhance the continent’s global competitiveness. Over two days, the event will bring together more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, startup enthusiasts, corporates, angel investors, VCs, and media for a programme of insightful talks and high-quality networking.
Built by MeOut, the team behind EU-Startups – who bring years of experience curating high-quality event content – and in collaboration with the Global Startup Awards, this event brings together key stakeholders from across the continent and beyond for two days of networking, deal-making, and programming in the heart of Central Europe.
The event will take place at Akvárium Klub, one of Budapest’s most iconic cultural venues. Located in the heart of the city at Erzsébet Square and known for its distinctive glass roof, the space provides a suitable setting for MeOut Summit’s debut.
With 1,000+ attendees expected, participants will have access to a programme featuring 50+ speakers across two full days, a day zero featuring a standalone hackathon event, alongside multiple opportunities to connect and collaborate.
The programme features keynotes, panels, structured networking on the main stage and the Central European Startup Awards (CESA) Regional Finale, celebrating the best startups from across Central and Eastern Europe.
Confirmed speakers include:
- István Lám – a Forbes 30 Under 30 alumnus, István is an Advisory Board Member at Zero Emission Leadership, advising on product strategy, innovation, and responsible technology adoption.
- Jack Mardack – co-founder at Oyster, a global employment platform helping companies hire, pay, and support distributed teams.
- Kinga Jentetics – a Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Europe alumnus, Kinga is CEO and co-founder of PublishDrive, an all-in-one digital publishing platform for ebooks, print books, and audiobooks.
- Dr. Arndt Schwaiger – AI expert, entrepreneur and business angel with a PhD in multi-agent systems, Arndt has co-founded several technology companies and advised over 600 startups and businesses on AI, product strategy, and scaling.
- Lech Kaniuk – Swedish-Polish serial entrepreneur, investor, Lech is co-founder of SunRoof; previously co-founded PizzaPortal, later acquired by Delivery Hero.
- Marius Istrate – Partner at 3VC, a European venture capital firm backing ambitious technology startups, Marius previously served as Chief People Officer at UiPath, where he helped scale the company from around 120 to 3,000 employees.
- Domagoj Dolinsek – founder of PlanRadar, a digital platform for construction and real estate project management, Domagoj has 10+ years of experience in international construction projects.
The speakers will take part in fireside chats and panel discussions on topics such as going global without losing focus, including scaling from Hungary to more than 100 countries; successfully expanding SaaS startups across borders; understanding how priorities shift from pre-seed to Series A and beyond; and exploring how artificial intelligence is shaping product development and growth.
Every format and discussion is designed to turn simple conversations into connections, and connections into opportunities.
