Domino’s reveals new S’mores Lava Cakes with marshmallow filling

Domino’s is adding a new dessert to its menu with the launch of S’mores Lava Cakes, giving customers a new take on the classic campfire treat.

The new dessert will be available first to Domino’s Rewards members beginning July 20 before rolling out nationwide across the US on July 27.

The launch also expands Domino’s dessert lineup by letting customers mix and match its new S’mores Lava Cakes with its existing Chocolate Lava Cakes to create a custom lava cake flight.

Domino’s unveils S’mores Lava Cakes

Each order of S’mores Lava Cakes includes three oven-baked graham cracker cakes filled with chocolatey chips and a marshmallow-flavored center. The dessert is finished with a dusting of powdered sugar and is designed to recreate the flavors of a traditional s’more without a campfire.

“Customers already love our Chocolate Lava Cakes, so we wanted to take that experience a step further with a flavor that’s both nostalgic and irresistible,” said Kate Trumbull, Domino’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

“S’mores Lava Cakes bring together everything people love about the classic treat – melty chocolate, gooey marshmallow and graham cracker flavor – without having to chop firewood, start a fire or apply bug spray.”

Customers can also build a lava cake flight by combining the new S’mores Lava Cakes with Domino’s Chocolate Lava Cakes, which feature molten chocolate fudge filling and powdered sugar.

A three-piece order of S’mores Lava Cakes is included in Domino’s Mix and Match deal for $6.99, although prices may vary by location.

Earlier this year, Domino’s expanded its menu beyond pizza with the launch of its first-ever Slice Sauce, a creamy Parmesan dipping sauce, while also giving qualifying customers access to a limited edition collection of Domino’s branded Shinola watches and leather goods.
