Thousands of users worldwide experienced a large-scale outage of Xbox Network services. The first reports of the outage began appearing on social media and the Downdetector platform approximately six hours ago. Initially, Microsoft’s official infrastructure monitoring resource indicated that all systems were functioning normally, but this information was later updated.
The official Xbox status page confirmed technical issues in key areas of the system. The outage affected profile authorization, the store, subscriptions, and mobile and built-in apps. Users are experiencing an inability to sign in to their accounts, sudden network disconnections, and incorrect content display in the Xbox digital store.
Microsoft has not yet officially released the cause of this issue. The company’s representatives stated that its engineering team is investigating and taking the necessary steps to restore service. The exact timeframe for completion of repair work and the return of infrastructure to normal operation has not yet been announced.
