Domino’s turns its Garlic & Herb dip into ice cream and brave customers can get it for free
Domino’s has transformed its beloved Garlic & Herb dip into an ice cream flavor, giving brave fans the chance to try it without paying a penny.
This summer has been a hot one, and Domino’s has crafted a treat to help folks cool down, though perhaps at the expense of their taste buds.
The pizza chain is known for experimenting with its signature sauce, having previously infused it into a white chocolate Easter egg. Its latest creation, however, may be the most divisive yet.
Domino’s Garlic & Herb ice cream is made by hand-stirring the savory dip into dairy ingredients sourced from Devon. Earlier in July, the pizza chain let beachgoers on the Brighton seafront try the new dessert and have their cones topped with an extra drizzle of dip.
But for those who didn’t get a chance to sample the ice cream on the beach, Domino’s is letting anyone sign up to get some delivered for free.

The limited-edition flavor is not part of Domino’s regular menu. Instead, UK residents aged 18 and over can enter an online giveaway for a chance to receive a free gift box containing the ice cream.
Entries are open until 11:59pm on August 14, with entrants required to provide their name, email address, and postal address. Only one entry is permitted per email address and delivery is also included.
“Our dip has become a bit of an icon in its own right, with customers finding all sorts of creative ways to enjoy it over the years,” a Domino’s spokesperson said.
“This summer, we thought we’d go one scoop further and take it somewhere completely unexpected.”
Domino’s is far from the first company to give ice cream a bizarre makeover. KFC previously turned its gravy into gelato.
Other limited-edition releases have included breast milk-flavored and even sunscreen-flavored ice cream.
