Former ‘Love After Lockup’ star receives lengthy prison sentence for forgery and theft
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC/Gray News) – A woman once part of the reality show “Love After Lockup” will serve 15 years in an Iowa prison on forgery and theft charges.
Latisha Collier, 39, was sentenced Thursday to 15 years on each charge, to be served concurrently.
After being denied housing in March 2024, police said Collier applied for a home in LeClaire that August using another person’s identification, Social Security number and tax documents. Collier also signed the housing lease with the person’s identification.
Investigators noted Collier had access to the victim’s personal and business details while serving as their business and tax accountant for 10 years.
Collier is at the Scott County Jail until she is transferred to the state’s prison for women in Mitchellville.
She must serve a minimum of three years, with credit for time already served.
Collier’s storyline for “Love After Lockup” followed her relationship with husband Keith Michael Collier, who was released early in January 2025 after serving part of a 14-year federal sentence for distributing crack cocaine.
She and her husband were arrested in November 2025 for possession of drugs.
Her possession charge was dismissed.
