Goth influencer Miss Tattoo and boyfriend shot dead over alleged debts
Brazilian goth influencer Ulissias Marcelli, known online as Miss Tattoo, and her boyfriend have been found shot dead on a rural roadside.
Marcelli, 30, and Vinícius Souza de Carvalho, 28, were discovered by a farm worker in the Vera Cruz district of Porto Seguro, Bahia, on July 18.
Both victims had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Police believe they were killed the previous day before their bodies were discovered.
According to reports, investigators suspect the couple may have been held captive before they were shot.
Forensic teams reportedly recovered seven spent bullet casings from the scene. Marcelli’s phone was also found and seized for analysis, while Carvalho’s phone was missing.

Authorities are investigating whether the killings were connected to an alleged debt linked to drug trafficking or the sale of narcotics by a criminal organization operating in the region.
However, police have not officially established a motive or identified those responsible. No arrests have been announced as the investigation continues.
Marcelli had nearly 20,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared her goth style, tattoos, motorcycles and work as a fire performer. She described herself as a four-time Miss Tattoo winner and was a familiar figure in Porto Seguro’s alternative music scene.
She had recently been announced as one of the presenters for the Rock Gaya Festival, which is scheduled to take place on July 25.
“On Thursday, we joyfully shared that Ulissias would be part of the Rock Gaya Festival as one of our presenters,” organizers wrote in a tribute.
“Today, with profound sadness, we say goodbye to her presence among us.”
The festival said it was struggling to find the words to process her death, adding: “It’s hard to believe that someone who was about to share such a special moment with us has left us so soon.”
This recent death comes as other influencers have died from suspected organized crime groups. Earlier this month, a 15-year-old streamer was found dead in black trash bags after allegedly being kidnapped by armed men from a soccer pitch in Honduras.
Also in July, Mexican environmental influencer Alex Serna was found dead months after he said he had received threats over his reporting about environmental damage, land disputes, construction projects, and possible corruption in government.
