GREEN-DA Raises $3.3M Pre-Series A Funding to Expand Sustainable Aviation Fuel Feedstock Supply for Global Aviation Market
GREEN-DA, a Korean startup specializing in converting waste cooking oil into feedstock for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), has closed a pre-Series A2 round of $3.31 million (KRW 4.9 billion).

GS Ventures, D3 Jubilee Partners, Bluepoint Partners, CNT Tech, and AI Angel Club all returned as follow-on investors, while Lotte Ventures, BNK Venture Capital, and IBK(Industrial Bank of Korea) joined as new backers. The round brings GREENDA’s total funding raised to date to over $4.86 million (KRW 7.2 billion).
Founded in 2022, GREEN-DA has developed proprietary technology that recovers oil from waste cooking grease discharged by restaurants and food manufacturing plants, converting it into high-value biofuel feedstock. Rather than stopping at oil extraction, the company has built out a full SAF feedstock value chain spanning collection, pre-treatment, refining, quality control, and supply, positioning itself at the intersection of resource circulation and carbon reduction.
GREEN-DA posted $6.01 million (KRW 8.9 billion) in revenue in the first half of this year alone, representing roughly 1,000% year-over-year growth. The company now works with around 2,500 supply partners nationwide, giving it a stable feedstock sourcing network, and has obtained ISCC EU and ISCC CORSIA sustainability and carbon certifications, laying the groundwork for expansion into the European and global aviation SAF markets.
With the new capital, GREEN-DA plans to strengthen its supply capacity in both domestic and international biofuel markets and further solidify a resource circulation ecosystem where environmental and industrial goals coexist.
“This investment reflects the market’s recognition of GREEN-DA’s technological capabilities, feedstock sourcing competitiveness, and global growth potential,” said Kyu-yong Hwang, CEO of GREEN-DA. “We will use the funding to expand our feedstock collection network, upgrade our production infrastructure, accelerate technology development, and secure key talent as we grow into a global climate tech company.”
