Hand-carved classic sideboard – looking for honest feedback before finishing it
|
I just finished building this handcrafted classic sideboard and wanted to get some honest opinions from the woodworking and furniture community. The piece is made from natural wood with hand-carved details and cabriole legs. It's still unfinished (no stain or clear coat yet), so what you're seeing is the raw wood. I included two photos from different angles. I'd love to know: What do you think of the proportions? Are the carvings too much, or do they fit the style? What finish would you choose (natural, walnut, dark mahogany, etc.)? Any suggestions before I move to the finishing stage? Thanks in advance for your feedback! submitted by /u/Ahmed7755b |
