Intrinsic Power Raises Seed Funding To Expand AI Power Orchestration Platform For Data Centers

Intrinsic Power has completed the first close of its Seed financing to accelerate commercialization of its AI-enabled power orchestration platform for data centers and other critical infrastructure. The financing included participation from Kyocera Ventures, Drive Catalyst, Boost VC and RPV Global.

Intrinsic Power plans to use the funding to continue developing its platform, expand its engineering team, support customer deployments and establish additional strategic partnerships.

The Los Angeles-based company develops software that helps buildings, campuses and data centers manage electrical capacity as a coordinated system.

Its platform continuously monitors electrical conditions, predicts available capacity and directs distributed energy resources in real time.

These resources can include battery storage systems, on-site power generation, controllable electrical loads and connections to the utility grid.

Rather than treating each electrical asset as an independent piece of equipment, Intrinsic Power’s technology is designed to coordinate the entire facility.

The company believes this approach can unlock additional usable capacity, improve resilience and reduce the need for immediate and costly infrastructure upgrades.

Intrinsic Power is expanding its technology into the AI data center market as demand for electricity rises alongside the deployment of larger computing systems.

Artificial intelligence infrastructure can require substantial and continuous power for servers, networking equipment and cooling systems.

Boost VC and RPV Global add broader venture investing and commercialization support.

Intrinsic Power expects these relationships to help it reach customers and partners as it moves from product development into larger-scale deployment.

The company will continue its Seed financing process while expanding commercialization across several infrastructure categories.
