Japan’s mobile operators unveil launch offers for Samsung’s latest foldables
Japan’s four major mobile operators – NTT Docomo, KDDI (au), SoftBank and Rakuten Mobile – have announced their launch plans for Samsung Electronics’ latest Galaxy foldable smartphones, with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 going on sale on 7 August following the opening of pre-orders on 23 July. KDDI, NTT Docomo and SoftBank will also offer the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2 from the same date, while Rakuten Mobile’s announcement covers the smartphones only.
