Jazz, Telenor Lose Mobile Market Share as Zong and Ufone Gain in June 2026
Pakistan’s mobile telecom market saw minor shifts in June 2026, with Jazz and Telenor losing a small portion of their subscriber market share while Zong and Ufone continued to strengthen their positions, according to the latest official subscriber data.
Despite the slight decline, Jazz remained the country’s largest mobile operator. Its market share stood at 36.25 percent in June, compared with 36.42 percent in May.
Zong maintained its position as the second-largest telecom operator and recorded further growth. Its subscriber market share increased to 26.72 percent in June from 26.62 percent in the previous month.
Telenor also experienced a small decline, with its market share slipping to 21.17 percent in June from 21.26 percent in May.

In contrast, Ufone continued to expand its presence in the market. The operator’s share rose to 14.81 percent in June, up from 14.65 percent in May.
Meanwhile, SCO’s market share remained unchanged at 1.05 percent, reflecting a stable subscriber base during the month.
The latest data suggests that competition in Pakistan’s telecom sector remains strong, as operators continue to invest in network expansion and digital services to attract and retain customers. Although the monthly changes were modest, the trend shows Zong and Ufone gradually increasing their market presence, while Jazz and Telenor saw slight declines.
Jazz continues to lead the market with more than one-third of total subscribers, but Zong’s steady growth indicates that competition among mobile operators is likely to remain strong in the months ahead.
