Motorola Edge 70 Max 5G mobile is now available for purchase in India, a week after its launch. It’s the fifth phone in Motorola’s Edge 70 lineup, joining the Edge 70, Edge 70 Fusion, Edge 70 Pro, and Edge 70 Pro+.

Motorola Edge 70 Max 5G mobile is priced at Rs 54,999 for the base 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage variant. A 12GB plus 256GB configuration is also available at Rs 59,999. It comes in three colours, Pantone Aqua Gray, Pantone Dark Shadow, and Pantone Ice Melt, and is available through Flipkart and Motorola’s online store.
As part of its introductory offer, Motorola is giving buyers a choice between a Rs 5,000 instant bank discount or a Rs 5,000 exchange bonus. No-cost EMI is also available for up to 18 months through select banks. With these offers applied, effective prices come down to Rs 49,999 for the 8GB variant and Rs 54,999 for the 12GB variant.
There’s also a Jio-specific offer. Customers recharging with Jio’s Rs 349 or higher 5G plans get access to Google Gemini Pro and 5TB of Jio AI Cloud storage for 18 months, along with the option to subscribe to the Jio OTT Pass at Rs 200 per month, which includes over 15 streaming apps and more than 1,000 live TV channels.

The dual-SIM Edge 70 Max runs Android 16-based Hello UI, with three years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates promised. It features a 6.8-inch QHD+ Extreme AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 7,000 nits peak brightness, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 510 ppi pixel density.
It’s powered by Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
For cameras, the Edge 70 Max has a dual rear setup, a 50-megapixel primary sensor using a Sony LYT-710 sensor, alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, a USB Type-C port, and support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NavIC, BeiDou, and QZSS. The phone is backed by a 7,100mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging, 25W wireless charging, and 5W wired reverse charging.
