New Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Approves Organizational Structure and Staffing | Ratopati

Kathmandu. The newly formed Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation has become the second ministry to approve its organizational structure and staffing. The ministry, headed by Minister Mahabir Pun, approved the organizational structure on July 11 and sent it to the National Archives (Civil) for formal registration.

According to the new organizational structure approved by the ministry, a total of 90 staff positions have been established. Among them, one secretary of the special category will be in charge of administrative leadership. Similarly, 3 joint secretaries have been approved, informed Shrawankumar Pokharel, Director General of the National Archives. The ministry stated that among them, 2 will be from the engineering service and 1 from the administration service.

Director General Pokharel of the National Archives confirmed that the ministry’s staffing structure has been received and that it has been registered through a ‘fast track’ today.

Director General Pokharel said that the National Archives has formed a ‘special task force’ with trained manpower to register the organizational structures of new ministries quickly. With the completion of the organizational structure by the ministry, which was formed with the objective of prioritizing scientific research and innovation, the process of staff management and performance will now gain momentum.
