Samsung has unveiled the newest iteration of its Z-series foldable phones at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, with the headliners being the Z Fold 8 in a brand-new wide form factor and the first-ever ‘Ultra’ foldable handset from the Korean smartphone maker.
Pre-orders have now officially launched in Australia, with the official Samsung Store offering up to AU$650 in stackable savings on the Z Flip 8, Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra if you order during the first 72 hours (ending at 10:59pm AEST on Saturday, July 25) or up to AU$550 thereafter right up until the new handsets’ launch on August 13.
If you’re trading in an old device — Samsung or otherwise — you can score a bonus of up to AU$150 on top of the usual trade-in credit, which reach up to AU$870 depending on the device.
If you took our advice and pre-registered for Galaxy Unpacked, the UNFOLD2026 Eco-Voucher you will have received via email can be redeemed by bundling any of the three new phones with either a Galaxy Tablet, Watch, Buds, Ring or other accessories. What’s more, during the first 72 hours, that voucher’s value will be boosted from AU$50 to AU$150.
