Update to my Emerald city.

About 9 months ago, I posted my Emerald City build here asking for ideas on how to design roofs for the towers. I was looking for advice and inspiration because I was stuck on that part of the build. Unfortunately, instead of getting suggestions, a lot of the comments turned into insults about my creativity and the build itself. I’ll never really understand the need to put someone down when they’re simply asking for help. Constructive criticism is one thing, but insulting someone who is trying to learn or improve doesn’t help anyone. That being said, I didn’t let it stop me. I kept working on it, figured out a roof design that I’m really happy with, and I’ve since added around six more towers to the city as well. So here’s the update for the people who offered ideas, encouragement, or simply enjoyed seeing the project. The Emerald City has grown a lot since then, and I’m excited to finally share the progress! Thanks to everyone who supports people’s builds and remembers that every great build starts somewhere. I am more than willing to do a full video tour if anyone is interested. It's not all the way done on the inside there's still a lot of work to be done but I have no problem showing you every inch of the outside of it. submitted by /u/violetsixx1981 |
