Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 17 Faces Price Hike – but It Could Still Be a Galaxy A27 Killer – Tech Advisor
According to the report, the four-strong Redmi Note 17 series will be announced in India on 6 August.
Apparently, the Redmi Note 17 4G will arrive in Europe at a starting price of €250 with a rather scant-sounding 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
If you want to step up to 6GB RAM and 256GB of storage, you’ll need to bump that price up to €300. That puts it in direct competition with Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy A27, which starts at £319/$349.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage will seemingly cost €500, and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will top the range at €600.

As the report points out, the Redmi Note 17 recently made an appearance on Geekbench, revealing a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset and 8GB of RAM.
The stand-out specification, though, could be a whopping great 7-inch FHD+ OLED screen, along with a large 8000mAh battery and fairly brisk 45W wired charging.
