Oppo has a handful of smartphones with a pretty large battery capacity such as the Oppo A6 Pro 4G, which has a 7,000mAh battery capacity. Now, Oppo is ready to go even further as a leak has revealed it has a new smartphone with a significantly larger battery.
According to the popular leaker, Digital Chat Station, Oppo has a new A-series smartphone that will pack a pretty large battery, practically the largest in an Oppo smartphone. The said device is reported to launch as the Oppo A7 Pro Max, and according to the leaker, it will have a 10,000mAh battery.
The battery is reported to be a single-cell type with support for 80W fast wired charging. These features put it ahead of the recently announced Redmi Note 17 Pro which has a 9,000mAh battery and support for 67W fast wired charging.
The rest of the specs of the Oppo A7 Pro Max include a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor which was announced in May 2026. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of the RAM and storage configuration.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max is also reported to have a 50MP front-facing camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, and a 2MP secondary rear camera. The phone will have a thickness of 8.47mm and weigh 226 grams.
There’s no news yet regarding when Oppo will release the new phone and how much it will cost. There’s also no report regarding the phone being available outside China when it launches.
