Garmin CIRQA smart band with screen-free design and Connected GPS announced

Garmin has announced the CIRQA Smart Band, its first screen-free smart band designed for continuous health and fitness tracking without a display. The wearable offers up to 10 days of battery life, provides around-the-clock health and fitness monitoring, and automatically records health and activity data that can be accessed through the Garmin Connect app. Garmin says the smart band’s core health and fitness features do not require a subscription.

The Garmin CIRQA Smart Band features a screen-free design that tracks health and performance metrics while minimizing the need to interact with the device. It includes a fabric band that can be worn on the wrist or upper arm based on the user’s activity or sleeping preference and is available in Citron Gray, Mauve, French Gray, Dark Olive, Captain Blue, French Blue, and Black color options.

The smart band automatically detects and records a variety of activities without requiring a display. Users can review and edit detected activities in the Garmin Connect app, allowing the device to improve activity classification over time based on those changes. It also supports manual tracking for more than 80 activities, including running, walking, yoga, and more. Users can also assign a favorite activity and start tracking it by pressing the single side button.

For health monitoring, the wearable supports:
