Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack 4 Officially Dropping This Month!

Gearbox has officially confirmed the release date for the next major Borderlands 4 content drop. The highly anticipated Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack 4 will officially launch on July 30. Since today is July 26, players only have a few days left to prepare for the action. This DLC delivers a quick, highly replayable one-hour mission. Furthermore, it focuses entirely on a single character to keep the narrative tight.

Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack 4: Levain’s Story & Faction Warfare

This upcoming Bounty Pack shifts the spotlight directly to Levain. Previously, the game explored a story centered around her romantic partner. Now, players will step in to help Levain handle a massive conflict between two opposing Ripper factions.

First, you will encounter The Flock. This faction officially abandoned violence and desperately wants Levain to help them maintain their peaceful lifestyle. Conversely, you must face The Blasphemers. These aggressive psychos recently captured an Order facility located in a canyon called the Toxic Scowl. Therefore, you must navigate this tense turf war and deal with both extremes.

A-or-B Choices, Bosses & Fresh Loot

Gearbox strongly emphasizes replayability with these shorter DLCs. Consequently, the developers introduced an innovative “A-or-B choices” system for this release. These player decisions will directly alter the in-game dialogue and completely change your combat encounters.

Furthermore, the developers ramped up the boss fights. You will battle one major boss and three unique mini-bosses. This offers a noticeable upgrade from the two mini-bosses featured in the previous A Zane to Kill For DLC.

Naturally, vault hunters want new gear. You can hunt down fresh Legendaries and highly coveted Pearlescent items. Additionally, this drop includes a new vehicle and a unique “splattered paint” skin for both the ECHO-4 and all Vault Hunters. Meanwhile, Vault Card 4 will launch alongside this DLC. This battle pass equivalent brings even more exclusive cosmetics and re-rollable Legendary gear.

Huge Content Planned for September

Although this July drop offers shorter gameplay, Gearbox promises a massive update for September. The developers will soon release the final stop on their current roadmap. First, this update introduces Loveless the Hacker as a brand-new Vault Hunter.

Next, players will get a full-sized Second Story Pack. This traditional expansion brings back the beloved legacy Vault Hunter, FL4K. Fans will battle Tediore forces while helping FL4K rescue a runaway pet Skag at a jungle resort. Moreover, this storyline will finally reveal how FL4K has evolved.

Finally, Gearbox will launch a fifth Bounty Pack in September. The studio added this extra pack to the schedule because they previously gave away one of the four promised Season Pass packs for free. Therefore, Season Pass owners will still get their full paid value. However, Gearbox has not confirmed a Year 2 Season Pass just yet. Fans will have to wait and see if missing legacy characters like Moze eventually return to the franchise.
