Cyberattack Hits Israeli Military Supplier IMCO, 30 Tb of Data Stolen – Politics news

‘Israel Hayom’ reported a serious cyber incident targeting the strategic and sensitive Israeli military industries company (IMCO), saying, according to the newspaper’s own acknowledgment, that the incident was extensive in scale and indicated deep penetration into the infrastructure of the major company.

IMCO, which is considered one of the main suppliers to the Zionist regime’s ministry of war, has officially acknowledged that its infrastructure suffered “serious damage” following a widespread cyberattack.

The severity of the incident was such that the company was forced to establish a special crisis team and use foreign specialists to contain the attack.

According to information, the attack, carried out by a hacker group called the “Cyber Support Front,” resulted in the infiltration of the company’s communication networks, industrial infrastructure, and data storage servers, and the theft of around 30 terabytes of data. Ten terabytes of the stolen information have been described as highly sensitive military documents.

The depth of the infiltration was reportedly such that the hackers gained access to military product manufacturing blueprints, critical contracts, and even surveillance camera footage from inside the facilities.

IMCO is not an ordinary supplier; rather, it is regarded as one of the key contractors of the Israeli regime’s ministry of war, particularly for the Directorate of Armored Vehicles (MANTAK).

This position has made IMCO a vital link in the supply chain of the Zionist army’s ground weapons systems. The defense giant is responsible for supplying electrical systems, battlefield computers, and smart displays for the most advanced armored equipment, including Merkava tanks and Namer and Eitan armored personnel carriers.

Apart from armored vehicles, IMCO, with 600 specialized employees and a network of seven production facilities in the occupied territories and around the world, also plays a key role in supplying strategic plans of systems for missile and air defense platforms. In other words, the company is not only a central component of the Israeli regime’s ground forces but also a critical link in the supply chain of its air and missile weapon systems.

Hebrew-language media outlets, including ‘TechTime’ and ‘Israel Hayom’, have extensively covered the incident and emphasized the formation of investigation and review teams, effectively acknowledging the depth and scope of the cyber operation and indicating that it was more than merely a claim.

What distinguishes this report from other incidents is IMCO’s own implicit acknowledgment of the occurrence of a “severe security event” and the opening of a case to investigate it. This indicates that the attack was able to seriously challenge the defensive layers of this military-industrial giant and sounded a serious alarm regarding the security of the Zionist regime’s weapons supply chain.
