Call Of Duty Black Ops & Call Of Duty Duty Black Ops 2 On PS5, PS4 Are Pretty Barebones, With No 120 FPS Or FOV Sliders

Earlier today we reported that the PS5 & PS4 versions of Call of Duty Black Ops and Call of Duty Black Ops II are now available to download from the PlayStation Store (for a launch discount price, too), but it’s now emerged that these ports are actually pretty lacklustre in terms of extra bells and whistles.
Charlie Intel reports that Black Ops and Black Ops 2 for both systems don’t any significant visual updates, with no 120 FPS support or FOV sliders. So, unfortunately, these are barebones ports based on the original PS3 releases, although if you’ve never played both games before this may not bother you too much.
As it stands, both games include the Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies content alongside Trophies. Keep in mind that Black Ops and Black Ops II will retail for $39.99 each from August 6, 2026.
Both Call of Duty Black Ops and its sequel are highly regarded by fans and critics alike, with Black Ops 2 in particular praised for its non-linear gameplay and multiple endings. Black Ops launched in November 2010 for PS3, PC, DS, Wii, and Xbox 360 with Black Ops 2 following two years later on PS3, PC, Wii U, and Xbox 360.
