J.League reveals all 60 Pokemon partners and limited-edition free merch

Japan’s J.League has officially revealed the Pokemon partner for each of its 60 professional football clubs, with fans also set to receive exclusive collaboration merchandise at stadiums across the country.
The crossover spans every club across Japan’s three professional divisions. Alongside the reveal, the league confirmed it will hand out one million limited-edition Pokemon eco-bags during the 2026 season.
One million Pokemon bags will be given away at J.League matches
Each club has now been paired with its own Pokemon, with the full lineup available on the J.League’s official collaboration page.
To celebrate the partnership, supporters attending home matches will receive one of one million exclusive eco-bags featuring their club’s partner Pokemon on one side and a special Pikachu design on the reverse.
The bags are scheduled to be distributed at each club’s home stadium throughout the campaign while supplies last.
The J.League has confirmed the bags are not for sale, meaning they can only be obtained by attending participating matches.
Given Pokemon’s history of limited-edition merchandise attracting collectors, it would not be surprising to see some eventually appear on the resale market, though the league has not announced any plans to sell them directly.
This is not the first time the J.League has worked with Pokemon. In 2014, the two collaborated for Family Join Days, giving supporters a promotional Pikachu trading card that now fetches high prices on sites like eBay, although it’s still far from being considered one of the most expensive cards ever printed.
