MOVA V70 Ultra Complete launches in Australia with AI navigation, 42,000Pa suction and obstacle-climbing technology

MOVA has officially launched its flagship V70 Ultra Complete robot vacuum in Australia, introducing a premium cleaning platform that focuses on solving many of the real-world limitations that continue to frustrate robot vacuum owners.

While suction figures continue to dominate marketing specifications across the industry, MOVA is taking a different approach with the V70 Ultra Complete. Rather than simply increasing cleaning power, the new flagship has been engineered to improve cleaning coverage, navigation and long-term ownership through a combination of mechanical innovation and AI-powered automation.

Recognised with a 2026 Red Dot Award for Product Design, the V70 Ultra Complete combines several industry-first technologies, including a 17cm extending mop system, robotic lifting legs capable of climbing obstacles up to 9cm, and an AI vision system that recognises more than 300 different household obstacles.

Designed to Reach Where Other Robot Vacuums Can’t

One of the biggest challenges for robotic vacuums has always been reaching the areas that matter most—corners, furniture legs, recessed cabinetry and low-clearance spaces.

The V70 Ultra Complete addresses this through MOVA’s new MaxiReachX system, which combines an extending mop with an extending side brush that actively reach beyond the robot’s chassis instead of relying on the body simply passing nearby.

The company says the system delivers up to three times greater edge and corner coverage than conventional robotic vacuum designs.

The 17cm mop extension is capable of reaching underneath furniture with as little as 5.9cm of clearance, while the 12cm side brush extension works alongside the mop to clean around table legs, skirting boards and awkward room edges.

Rather than treating edge cleaning as an afterthought, the entire cleaning system has been designed around improving coverage throughout the home.

Powerful Vacuum Performance

Backing up the extended reach is an impressive 42,000Pa suction system powered by a high-speed motor spinning at up to 150,000 RPM.

The vacuum incorporates MOVA’s TroboWave DuoBrush, designed to minimise hair tangles while maintaining strong pickup performance across both hard flooring and carpet.

Additional anti-tangle components include:

  • Anti-Tangle Side Brush
  • Anti-Wrap Omni-Wheel
  • Self-cleaning brush design

For homes with pets or long hair, reducing manual brush maintenance has become almost as important as raw suction performance.

Climbing Obstacles Instead of Avoiding Them

Perhaps one of the more unusual features is the StepMaster™ System 2.0.

Instead of relying solely on larger wheels, the robot uses robotic lifting legs that physically raise the chassis, allowing it to cross thresholds, door tracks and furniture obstacles up to **9cm high**.

This helps prevent the robot becoming trapped by common household transitions while allowing it to navigate more complex floorplans without unnecessary rerouting.

Smarter Navigation with AI

Navigation is handled through MOVA’s FlexScope™ Navigation system.

Unlike fixed LiDAR towers, the retractable DToF sensor lowers automatically when travelling beneath low furniture, reducing the robot’s overall height while maintaining mapping accuracy.

Combined with AI vision, the robot can recognise more than 300 different household objects, including cables, furniture, toys and pet-related obstacles.

Users can also customise object behaviour within the companion app by defining individual items and specifying preferred avoidance distances.

For households with pets, the dedicated Pet Care Mode identifies both pets and pet waste, allowing the robot to adjust its cleaning path accordingly.

Enhanced Mopping System

The V70 Ultra Complete’s mopping system has also received significant upgrades.

The dual spinning mop pads operate at up to **300RPM** and apply approximately **15N of downward pressure** to better tackle dried spills and stubborn stains.

A floating mop assembly adjusts its height and angle to maintain contact across uneven floor surfaces, while users can configure the robot to:

  • Lift mops on carpet
  • Remove mops automatically
  • Avoid rugs entirely
  • Increase suction on carpets

An ultrasonic sensor detects different carpet types and adjusts cleaning behaviour automatically.

Lower Maintenance Through a Bagless Dock

One of the more distinctive design choices is MOVA’s EcoCyclone™ Bagless Dust Station.

Rather than using disposable dust bags, the station incorporates a washable dust collection tank capable of supporting up to 100 days of hands-free operation, helping reduce both ongoing consumable costs and environmental waste.

The docking station also performs the full range of automated maintenance tasks, including:

  • Emptying the dustbin
  • Washing mop pads
  • Refilling cleaning solution
  • Drying mops
  • Charging the robot

The redesigned JetSpray Dryboard™ 2.0 wash system uses angled cleaning surfaces and targeted spray jets to minimise residue buildup inside the dock itself.

Premium Design Meets Everyday Practicality

Beyond cleaning performance, MOVA has placed considerable emphasis on user experience.

A front-mounted status light provides instant visual feedback without requiring users to check the mobile app, while a 6400mAh battery supports extended cleaning sessions and automatically resumes unfinished cleaning tasks after recharging.

The V70 Ultra Complete also benefits from up to 30 per cent faster charging than previous fast-charge implementations.

Built for Australian Homes

Nancy Zhang, Country Manager for MOVA Australia and New Zealand, said the V70 Ultra Complete was developed around solving everyday cleaning frustrations rather than simply chasing headline specifications.

Robot vacuums have become much more capable, but many households still experience the same real-world frustrations: missed corners, furniture gaps, thresholds and ongoing maintenance. With every MOVA robot vacuum, our goal is to provide purpose-driven solutions for better living.

“The V70 Ultra Complete brings that focus to life through flagship intelligence, powerful performance and practical design advancements that address real household blind spots—from recessed furniture and narrow gaps to low-clearance areas.

Pricing and Availability

The MOVA V70 Ultra Complete is available now in Australia for $3,299 RRP through Harvey Norman, Amazon Australia and the MOVA Australia online store.

The robot is backed by a three-year Australian warranty, positioning it as MOVA’s flagship offering in the premium robot vacuum segment.
