ExtraEmily has a new show streaming on Hulu/Disney+
Streamer and online personality ExtraEmily has a new show on Hulu/Disney+, as part of the Creator Essentials series.
Creator Essentials is a line of short-form reality entertainment series produced by pocket.watch, a children and family media company that develops entertainment franchises around popular digital creators and YouTube personalities.
Some internet creators that have featured as part of the series include Matthew Beem, ZHC, Topper Guild, and now Emily Zhang (aka ExtraEmily), a Twitch streamer known for her high-energy IRL streams.
Season 1 will feature 15 episodes
The show is built around ExtraEmily’s previous vlogs and streams, using professional editing to compile them into a more traditional episodic TV format for Hulu/Disney+ viewers.
The 15 episodes include “Working Out with Sara Saffari”, “ExtraEmily vs Agent00 in Beach Volleyball”, and “ExtraEmily plays Mini Golf with Her Dad”.
ExtraEmily addressed the news while livestreaming, detailing the format, the episodes, and the fact they “just yoinked the thumbnails” from her original vlogs.
“I’m actually so curious how they’re gonna edit it but, basically, I was like ‘Yeah of course you can put my streams on Hulu. I think that would be fun’,” said ExtraEmily on-stream. “So if they do well on Hulu then that’s really good. And they will let me know if they end up doing well.
